Vocalise by Sergei Rachmaninoff has always held a special place in my heart — a piece that transcends words to become pure emotion.
In this reinterpretation, I’ve sought to honor its melancholic beauty while exploring a contemporary cinematic dimension.
Ethereal solo voices, created from layered choral libraries and subtle electronic textures, weave through a soundscape of strings, brass, and synth pads.
The piano marks a steady pulse, guiding the listener through waves of orchestral and electronic percussion that rise and fade like distant memories.
This Vocalise is not only a tribute to Rachmaninoff’s genius but also a reflection of my lifelong fascination with his music — an emotional journey between nostalgia and majesty, where sound becomes light and silence speaks.
